The Resuscitation Council of Hong Kong (RCHK) has been established since 26 May
2012, aiming at “bringing in together local institutions that are involved
in various aspects of resuscitation”. Other than engaging in local context,
RCHK is also an ordinary member affiliated with the RESUSCITATION COUNCIL OF ASIA
(RCA). RCA is a member of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR),
which was formed in 1992 to provide a forum for liaison amongst principal resuscitation
organizations worldwide.
Main objectives of RCHK:
To advocate for best practice, education, research and development in resuscitation
To offer a collaborative platform for sharing and exchange of information, knowledge
and data related to resuscitation across different organizations from hospitals,
beyond clinics to whole community
To engage public for resuscitation training and practice
To represent Hong Kong for national, regional and international networking and benchmarking
